This was the game that we had all been waiting for, our first proper game of the season! This game did not dissapoint and was amazing to be part of. The first half of the first game was a very fast affair with Mold taking a 2 point advantage into the half time break. After the restart there was some very good defensive play by both sides and it took a while before the first try was scored. Anselmians worked very hard in the second half and were unfortunate to get beat by a point.

After a ten minute break to take on some valuable fluids and have a good breather, game 2 began. Mold came out of the blocks like a rocket and really piled on the pressure and i think the pace of the first game really got to them and went into half time 4 points down. Fair play to each and every one of our guys they stuck at it, stemming the flow of Mold but could only claw back to lose by 3 points.

Both games were played in fabulous spirit by both sides and this sets a very good and positive benchmark for how the season can progress.
