In the game that never was, Mike Potter scored his first try for the Ducks to grab us a well deserved draw. In possibly the greatest ever display by an Anselmian, Mike travelled to Lymm on his own and secured two points for the lads against a strong Lymm 15.

Indeed after speaking to the Lymm captain apparently Mike was everywhere and did everything and anything to secure the points.

Sorry this is an apology to Mike from me, he was the only I didn’t tell the game had been called off on the day, he travelled to Lymm only to find out the pitch was waterlogged.
