Revenge is a dish best served cold is what I'm led to believe and yesterday as far as a few with not to distant memories was a day we can savour for quite a while, I was there when we went to Broughton Park 3s short on numbers, suffered an injury after five minutes and still didn't receive the offer of one of the oppositions twenty players until we lost another man late in the second half, already being fifty points down, something to do with points difference if I remember righty. As I say what goes around comes around even if it's not in the best rugby tradition.
A decent performance I'm led to believe 45 - 13 away from home can't be bad (don't know, sat by the pool, having a beer). Tries from Ben Saddo (you sure Al that's his real name), Jon Oates, Dom Nev, Hasty, Tom Campbell, and Taggy, 5 conversions from Matt (miss a few) Brookes.
Now when you ask all the Loony Tunes who Duck of the Day was, I suppose it comes as no surprise when they all come up with different answers, so if you ain't named here you should be embarrassed:- Ben Sadler, Cal Graham, Tyler Brookes, Dan Jenner. Tyler must have put himself about because he also got a nomination for Dick of the Day, but there can only be one winner and apparently he left the medi bag and kicking tee in the changing rooms, congratulations Al, I see you can't manage without me, the crates on you.
Now back to my beer, see you soon.
Mother Duck.
