Saturday sees the 1st XV playing 3rd place Northwich in their final game of the season with 3pm ko. If the previous 2 home games are anything to go by we should all be looking forward to a great afternoon of attacking Rugby. Saints amassed 81 points in those games including the prize scalp of table toppers Altrincham Kersal.
We offer a warm welcome to the Northwich Officials, coaches, players and supporters today and look forward to what is usually a well contested and hard fought game with a win for Saints seeing them end the season on a high along with the recent excellent results against the top 2 in the division which all bodes well for next seasons campaign.
Saturday sadly will also see the final appearance of Saints no 8 Loa Tupou who will be taking up a new role in warmer climates down under. Everyone at the club wishes him well and I am sure his team mates will give him a great send off at the after match BBQ.
A good crowd is expected so come and sample the exciting afternoons rugby and enjoy the after match celebrations.
