I was asked recently if the fixtures for season 19/20 had been published, nothing on the RFU website as yet, no further news of any league re-structure either.

If there is no re-structure the first team will be playing in Lancs / Cheshire Div 1 next season, there were only 13 teams in that division last season.

Two have been promoted champions Altincham Kersal & runners-up Bowdon who had a home walk over in the play-offs.

Bottom club, 13th placed Fleetwood I presume will go down so what will Lancs / Cheshire Div 1 look like next season.

We are down along with Manchester & De La Salle, all three of us Merseyside / Manchester area sides so no one who is likely to be shunted into the Cumbria leagues.

Three down and in normal circumstances two up from Div 2, Aspull & Eccles which in total makes 15 clubs.

It will be interesting to see what solution the RFU come up with, the 15 clubs are:

11 Sefton
