Sunday 18th September sees our first taste of competitive rugby for the new season.

10am meet at Wirral rugby club on Thornton Common, Clatterbridge, we are having a short scrummage training session followed by training games against Wirral and Ellesmere Port, I hope everyone can make it as It will give us the opportunity to try people in different positions whilst getting some valuable game time . Tracksuit tops to be worn for the boys who have them and those that don't if interested can be ordered at the club shop.

Training

The general consensus is that you are happy for the boys to train midweek as long as it does not clash with other commitments, so having consulted with a number of parents it seems appropriate to keep away from Wed and Thur as these evenings are Wirral and Anselms after schools training. So we are going to trial Tue nights(commence 20/9) along with the U13s 6pm start to be finished by 7.15, it would be good to see as many along as possible to enable us to work further on different things, and when the weather becomes nasty hopefully we will be able to move into the school gym at Anselms to work further on skills and fitness.

Hope to see you all there on Sunday at 10am.

Regards,

Jamie
