Summer training

There's a lot to learn and only one place to learn it!!!

There's a lot of potential in these players as we all know. The first few months of this next season is where we see if they have the desire to match. Even if the lads play rugby until they're 50, this will be the most important off season and close season they will have. Only in training sessions (or occasional school games) will they play in tags again. From now on it's contact all they way and as a result, there is a lot to learn.
Therefore, to ensure that the lads are in the best position possible to cope with a seismic sift in the rulese of the rugby they will play, Colin, Adrian and myself will be putting summer sessions on at the club each Tuesday. Starting at 6pm every week, the aim is to get the lads to understand off side, be able to tackle, understand their roles at the ruck and maul, we'll start scrumming and a few other things if we can fit them in. The idea of these sessions above all others is to ensure the players are safe.
I know we are coming up to the main holiday season, but it would be great to see everyone there. Bring others along who may want to join in. I can't wait for the new season (but I am enjoying my sundays a bit more now).

Up the Annies!!!!
