Dan has been involved in rugby in one guise or another for the last 30 years. After flirting with the idea of actually playing the game he has spent the last 20 years being involved with coaching and the administration of rugby from all levels from International down Mini levels.

After leaving University Dan worked at the RFU with Don Rutherford, Roger Uttley and Sir Clive Woodward as the England Team Admin Manager. After several years based at HQ and travelling the world with the Senior England Team he was asked by a number of players to manage their affairs. To that end he came an Agent / Manager for several top players including former Internationals Ben Kay, Martin Corry, Sean Lamont & Delon Armitage. He also worked with many of the top internationals of the time including Jason Leonard, Lawrence Dallaglio, Ben Cohen, Peter Stringer & Mark Taylor.

In 2003 Dan & his wife Claire moved North and left professional rugby behind to concentrate on the other end of the rugby spectrum. Dan became a teacher and established a reputation for helping to develop the game within the Wirral Education Authority. In his position he was able to help promote the good word of Rugby and in 2006 he became the Team Manager for the Cheshire U17 & U18 Age Groups. Up until recently Dan was a Headmaster at a local Prep School, he has been involved with The Saints for the last 5 years and is currently Head Coach of a thriving age group.
