The senior squad gets some early match practice today in a warm-up fixture against a strong Llandudno team. Llandudno play at a higher level in the Welsh Leagues than our RFU level 7, so today's match-up will be a stern test of the quality of the squad.

Exciting new signings, Chris Pilgrim, James Otutaha will bring vast experience and leadership to the squad along with player coach McGovern.

This is an opportunity for all developing young players to impress the new coach and stake claims to the first team squad and for the existing squad players to consolidate their positions under the new regime.

Coach McGovern, has no preconceptions about selection, so there is everything to play for today!

This will be an extremely interesting and, hopefully, entertaining game for supporters and spectators who will leave Riveacre Road with a taste of things to come. Let's hope that it will be sweet!
