They say "every cloud has a silver lining" its true.

Anselmians investment 14 seasons ago is now beginning to pay dividends, mulling over team selections for this season I was pleasantly surprised when I realised that some 20 lads who have played colts for the club over the past two seasons have played either 1st team, 2nd team or both this season add to that 2 more lads who have either come back to play or recently joined and it means we have fielded 22 lads (young men)aged between 17 and 21 in the two senior sides.
The vast majority of these lads have been at the club since they started senior school, two boys worthy of special mention are Nathan Redfearn and Nick Hearn who have been there since the start and have graced every age group since and gone onto to play in each of our three senior sides.
Looking at this years colts there are a lot of lads who will make their senior debuts before the end of the season.

Hows this for 1st team in the next couple of seasons.
