Eddie joins the "Saints" after successful Head Coach and Forwards Coach roles with Mold, Chester and RGC. So, he brings a wealth of experience of rugby at a higher level.

Already, after just a couple of sessions, Eddie has made a big impression and there is no doubt that his experience will add considerable value to the squad.

Eddie said; "Guv asked me to take a look at the squad and the set-up at Anselmians before making a decision to join. I was very impressed by the attitude of the players and the commitment of the management team and administrative support. So it was an easy decision for me to make."

On the forwards coach's appointment, the McGovernor commented; "I worked with Eddie during my playing spell at Chester. I was always impressed by his rugby knowledge and passionate delivery. So, I was delighted when he agreed to consider my offer of a move to Anselmians."
