Flood warning

Thanks to Howard and all at BHP for a great morning. Apologies all those who didnt get as much game time as we would have liked. The pitch was ruled unplayable 5mins into our final 3rd which left us in the position where we wanted to play but the referee had decided the game could not continue.

Saints ran through a number of combinations in preparation for their Plate final. Dispite the wet weather the hands were great and we scored most of our points out wide after a number of phases. Total rugby.

The lads at BHP showed alot of spirit, and this will stand them well in the future. Individually they had many good players, but as a newish squad they found the Saints a bit of a handfull at the contact area and when we moved the ball around in the backs.

Special mention to star wingman Adam for bagging 4 tries.

Glad the rads were on in the clubhouse afterwards, hands and bodies were a little chilly after such a drenching...
