Great to have BHP at Malone Field

It was a pleasure to host 'H' and his team to Malone Field on Sunday, the Park players, coaches and parents all approach the game with the same view as us. Rugby is about developing young players whilst having fun at the same time, thanks to 'H' for reffing the game.
Both sets of players gave 100% and played with true spirit, Park never gave up and kept scoring right till the last whistle.As we had been allocated the 1st team pitch for the day I asked the lads to keep their shape and get the ball out wide, which they duly did. One of the best displays from the backs this season. It would be impossible to single at any particular Anselmian player as everyone contributed their all, forwards worked hard to win the rucks, mauls & scrums and the backs moved the ball quickly after gaining territory. However I would like mention Dan Waring for an excellent try, he received the ball just inside our half and sprinted up the slope to touch the ball down just shy of the posts, well done Dan you can do it I'm sure there's more to come.
Big thank you to players and parents for support, days like Sunday are what it's all about.
