Much improved Helsby

Saints following the agreed rotation put out a strong team but with many familiar faces training with the U14's the lads knew it would be a big ask against a large and handy looking Helsby crewe.

We like Helsby, they work exceptionally hard to give the lads a game and have come through some tough knocks this season. "Whats doesnt kill you makes you stronger" is the saying and Helsby are the living proof of this.

The coaches avoided the temptation to put on a few big hitters in the final 15mins - we want the lads to develop and understand each and everyone of them has the potential to be a standout player.
