More recruits...

Training got way after the more than entertaining RWC Final,which saw NZ run out as the best team in the world. I bet the insurance policy to cover the All Blacks No10 shirt is now second only to the sovereign debt cover on Greece...4th string fly half gets a run out...by all accounts he was fishing 10 days ago when he go the call to arms, so lads remember always take your boots with you when going on holiday...it might get you a world cup winners medal one day.

We saw the debut for Saints of two quality propositions today, both have played a bit of rugby over the years but have heard that Saints is a place where you will get game time and a good crack at the sport.

After a warm up, which involved a lot more press ups than normal...the ball just would not stick to hands today hence press up frenzy...we moved through some good drills then ended up with a game of touch, modified touch, ruck touch then full contact.

Rory and Jack got a special mention at the end but other than the hands - we all seemed to be off form ...take a bow Chris W - everyone played well. Mike W took the tackling drill and implemented it into the game, Daniel ran with force, George McD was all over the pitch...everyone played well.

Tues night we ARE having training so come down if you are free. Sunday sees Wirral at Malone Field so get down we need as many as possible to make sure we can front up a good unit, Wirral are a cracking team both on and off the pitch so it will be a good day. Let Louise know if you are NOT avail so Ian can plan the team and rotations to give everyone a good crack of the whip.

Only 4 more years until the next RWC...the mums are so happy...they have forgotten about the H-Cup starting – lol!
