A great session with Chris taking Ians mantle as warm-up king and showing the Bunny Hop champ a thing or two in a enjoyable and fitness focused warmup.

Thanks to all parents etc for grabbing forms from Louise. For those of you who didnt get a chance please see her next week. You need to do the paperwork urgently as we have insurance issues if you are not signed up.

After some good skills work with Brendan and Damian joining in the boys then worked through some game play stuff to practice how we will play in games.

A few modification to the touch and it got more and more physical. A good waterbreak and then into contact.

Great effort and good skills from the boys. The heat and prob some lack of summer fitness training reminded us all how important regular and focused training is now the lads are in junior rugby. We will be doing mid week training if the desire exists, please tell us next week if you are up for this.

We are at home next week with Ruthin joining us for joint training. We have got to get used to the full sized pitch so we will do some training then have some training led contact sessions with the coaches stepping in to get things going right. We prob will not adopt scrums and the linouts a bit of a lottery so that will prob go for a rest as well.

Should be a good way to build skills and fitness while learning and sharing stuff with the lads from north Wales.

Please arrive 10.20 for a prompt 10.30 start and dont forget your gumshield.

Finally a note from Julie in the shop, we will have to order shirts as we have had a rush on some key sizes so get in soon. Anyone with the old shirts they are fine (if not a bit hot), if you have outgorown your old one or have not got one then Im sure we can sort you out. If you are a parent with an old shirt or 2 in the house please feel free to bring them down.
