With just over two weeks to go before the exciting start to a new season and, with the loss of income from our own bar and functions, we desperately need support from all members to introduce sponsorship revenues into the Club.

So, this is a call to arms to ask everyone to do their best to introduce new sponsors to the club. Every member should consider themselves a sales-person for the Club!

• We have a deadline for new pitch-side banner advertisers for the start of the new season. Only banners for which we have received artwork by this Thursday evening, can be ordered in time to be displayed for the first home league match of the season. The banners cost just £250 for the whole season with an additional one-off charge of £175 for the cost of a rigid “Foamex” board. This season, we are mounting the boards on rigid timber battens to ensure that they survive for several seasons.

• A5 programme advertisements also cost just £250 per season (a minimum of 13 issues) and the deadline for new advertising copy is Wednesday 29 August.

• Player sponsorships are just £100 per player, per season, and credits for their sponsors appear on the website, in the match day programme, in match reports, etc. The deadline for the first match of the season is Wednesday 29 August.

• Match Ball sponsorship is £75 per game. Again, credits are posted on the website and in the match day programme either on the front cover or on the team sheet. The deadline for the first game of the season is Wednesday 29 August.

There are several other sponsorship opportunities. Please download and share a copy of our sponsorship prospectus, “Partnership Opportunities”, and I would ask everyone to share this with their business contacts to solicit more, much needed, sponsorship support.
